K-Pop star Jae Joong is taking his star power into the café business in a big way, with branding and package design by South Korean design firm Art & Design International (ADI).
The singer-songwriter created the café to not only serve up hot coffee but also shop for branded merchandise, from coffee tumblers to home goods. Meda Ntumba, spokesperson for ADI, notes that agency designed aprons, blankets and key chains in addition to the café’s foodservice packaging, e.g., disposable coffee cups and paper shopping bags.
“We were responsible for all the work that includes graphic design and illustrations,” Ntumba reports. The overall brand look is sleek and modern with black, white and metallics figuring prominently in the color schemes.
