[NEWS] 141216 Jaejoong exudes charisma during filming of ‘Spy’

Singer and actor Jaejoong will appear as a charismatic intelligence agent for the upcoming KBS2 Friday drama series “Spy.”

The broadcaster revealed pictures of the actor on Monday participating in the first filming of drama.

In the photos, Jaejoong has a sharp and intense look about him, despite being injured in the arm. The scene was described as the actor visiting the National Intelligence Service to receive a new mission, despite his injuries.

“Even though it was first filming of the drama, Jaejoong acted in a natural and mature way, based on his perfect understanding of his character,” a production team official was quoted as saying.

In the Friday drama, Jaejoong will play the role of Sun-woo, a South Korean intelligence agent who is in love with an office worker named Yoon-jin, played by actress Ko Sung-hee.

Based on an Israeli drama, “Mice,” the thriller drama portrays story of Sun-woo and his mother, a former North Korean spy played by Bae Jong-ok.

The drama will air two episodes in a row from 9:20-11 p.m. every Friday, starting Jan. 9.

[NEWS] Kim Jae-joong to Start Shooting Drama ‘Spy’ “Looks Like A Real Agent!’

Kim Jae-joong will appear as an information analyst at National Intelligence Service named ‘Sun-woo,’ who is also very smart and has outstanding ability to observe, in KBS 2TV’s new Friday drama <Spy>, which will be aired at 9:20 on January 9 next year.

Kim Jae-joong was said to impresse staff members at the shooting location with his sharp eyes. He shot a scene to be on his way to be given a new mission with his arm in a cast.

Sources said he showed perfect acting even if he got cast on his arm.

He was also said he put much effort to express Sun-woo with broken arm.

Officials said, “Kim Jae-joong showed an outstanding acting even though it was his first scene. He looked like a real intelligence agent. He also seemed like that he 100 % understood his character. I hope many people to support this family, thriller drama <Spy> with a lot of efforts of actors.”

Drama <Spy> is gaining much attention with a neat mix of family drama and thriller. It tells a story of a mother who used to be a spy and her son who works at National Intelligence Service.
