- I guess lead roles and supporting roles or ensembles don’t have much time to get close.

“If I used the same room with the lead roles, I must have gotten close with them. If not that situation, I’m not really a kind of a person who cares about someone intentionally so… I don’t text or call someone often. However, actors who naturally take care of others get close regardless of what role he or she plays. Not long ago, I texted (Kim) Junsu because I watched the video of him singing ‘An Overly Painful Love is Not Love’ and was touched. I liked (the video) very much. Then Junsu answered ‘Is that really you, hyung?’ That’s the person I am. (laughs)”

- Co-actors know exactly what the personality of star actors are like.

“Some people might say I am applying a stricter criterion because it is a star actor and an entertainer, but personally, I can tell whether ‘this actor is nice or not’ by watching ‘if this actor wants the moving line set self-centeredly or not.’ There is a star actor that insists everything should be set for only his/her viewpoint if there is anything bothering his/her moving line. If that doesn’t work, he/she gets fussy. I think of him/her an unkind actor when he/she insists that only himself/herself should look good even though when he/she can compromise with the assistant director and the supporting actor.”

- What do you think about Kim Junsu who you acted with in <Elisabeth>  and <Mozart!>?

“Junsu isn’t fussy. He is a popular, good-natured, nice actor. He also has a charm that attracts the audience when he is on the stage.”
